about me.

I’m Kitty Smith, a gallery manager and art advisor based in Brighton, originally from Cornwall. As the daughter of artist Gary Ray Smith, I grew up around art and the conversations, work and dedication behind it. That experience shaped my interest in both the artwork itself and the people who create it.

As Gallery Manager at Indelible Fine Art, I work across exhibitions, artist relationships and collector enquiries, alongside the writing and creative direction that help bring an artist’s work to an audience. This gives me a perspective on the industry from both the studio and the gallery floor.

Art education is central to my approach. I believe people deserve to understand what they’re buying—from an artist’s practice and the context behind a piece to editions, provenance and pricing. I value open conversations about how the art market operates, what influences value and where marketing claims deserve closer scrutiny.

My aim is to help people discover artwork they love while giving them the knowledge to make considered, confident decisions. Whether you’re buying your first piece or developing an established collection, I want the experience to feel personal, transparent and informed.
